This 8 ounce pump bottle was designed for dispensing lotions, creams, shampoos and conditioners. At our house we use one for our homemade borax shampoo, and one for our homemade citric acid conditioner rinse. We don't buy commercial body products for the most part because we like everything we put on our skin to be food grade. I figure, anything you put on your skin gets to your liver at some point, so if I wouldn't drink a glass full, I won't put it on my skin. When I make shampoo I pour 1/8 cup of 20 Mule Team Borax into a gallon of warm tap water and shake. When it settles I pour the mix into my pump bottle. For conditioner rinse I mix 1/4 tsp. of Citric Acid into another pump bottle. The two are very watery, but they work better than store bought shampoos. I just get my hair wet and squirt them directly on my hair. It's very old fashioned, pure and natural. Give it a try sometime.
